Our Mission

CLAC is a humanist organisation working with the mission to impart scientific education among people to eradicate superstition and myths regarding women and vulnerable sections of the society, by establishment of academic/institutes/organisation in science and technology for training, education, research and communication. Develop awareness and literacy in computer education, help rural poor, disabled and ST/SC/Girl students in continuing computer education.

Our vision is to strengthen the economic and social condition of the lesser privileged through focused social and educational programmes with the emphasis on women emancipation. We envision a digitally empowered Odisha where every individual, regardless of their background, has access to quality computer education and the opportunities it brings for a brighter future.

The CLAC Story

From a small initiative to Odisha's trusted computer training institute.

2010

CLAC Founded

Computer Literacy And Application Centre established in Daspalla, Nayagarh with a mission to bring computer literacy to rural Odisha.

2011

NIELIT Authorization

Received official authorization from NIELIT, Government of India — enabling us to conduct and certify IT literacy courses.

2013

1000 Students Milestone

Celebrated training our first 1000 students — a testament to the trust placed by the community in our programmes.

2015

Project Vikash Launched

Launched Project Vikash to bring computer education to rural children and underprivileged communities across Nayagarh district.

2018

ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification — recognizing our commitment to international quality standards in education.
