Our flagship community programme providing computer education, skill training, child care and women empowerment to the less privileged in rural Nayagarh, Odisha.
Project Vikash is CLAC's flagship social programme, providing the right opportunity to the less privileged rural children in the district and nurturing them to be better acquainted with computers, improve their competence in core subjects and pass percentage.
At present, we have appointed cluster coordinators for smooth operation of the project. This project strives for the development of the less privileged through its four pillars: computer education, skill training, child care and women empowerment.
Our holistic approach to community development addresses four key areas of human need.
Providing free and subsidized computer training to rural children who otherwise have no access to digital learning. Basic computer skills, internet usage, MS Office and more — building the foundation for a digital future.
Vocational skill training programmes designed to provide livelihood opportunities. From DTP and Tally to hardware repair — equipping youth with market-ready skills that create immediate employment opportunities.
Holistic support for the overall development of children — beyond computers. Addressing educational gaps, providing learning materials, and ensuring children from disadvantaged backgrounds can compete on a level playing field.
Digital literacy and economic independence programmes specifically designed for women in rural communities. Computer skills, financial literacy and entrepreneurship support — enabling women to break barriers and achieve independence.
The numbers tell the story of lives changed through Project Vikash.
A systematic, community-driven approach to delivering digital education at the grassroots level.
